右旋糖酐鐵又稱為葡聚糖鐵，是低分子量右旋糖酐的重要衍生物之一，位重均分子量5000~7500的右旋糖酐與氫氧化鐵的絡(luò)合物。右旋糖酐鐵為一種黑褐色色的無定形或結(jié)晶性粉末，無臭，味澀，有吸濕性，易溶于水，不溶于乙醇等有機(jī)溶液。
右旋糖酐鐵是一種游記高價(jià)鐵復(fù)合物，而鐵又是紅細(xì)胞中血紅蛋白的組成元素，缺鐵時(shí)，紅細(xì)胞合成血紅蛋白量將減少，導(dǎo)致缺鐵性貧血。所以右旋糖酐鐵的產(chǎn)品多數(shù)運(yùn)用于治療生物缺鐵性貧血，是目前臨床上較為常見的抗貧血藥。其中主要分布于兩個(gè)領(lǐng)域，一是人用藥，另一個(gè)為獸用藥。桃源所生產(chǎn)的右旋糖酐鐵產(chǎn)品為獸用藥系列，廣泛應(yīng)用于仔豬母豬的缺鐵性貧血治療，為仔豬的健康生長(zhǎng)保駕護(hù)航。
Iron dextran, also known as glucan iron, is one of the important derivatives of low molecular weight dextran. It is the complex of dextran and iron hydroxide with average weight of 5000~7500. Iron dextran is a black brown amorphous or crystalline powder, odorless, astringent, hygroscopic, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol and other organic solutions.
Iron dextran is a complex of highly expensive iron, and iron is the component element of hemoglobin in red blood cells. When iron is deficient, the amount of hemoglobin synthesized by red blood cells will be reduced, resulting in iron deficiency anemia. Therefore, most of the products of iron dextran are used in the treatment of biological iron deficiency anemia, which is a common anti-anemia drug on clinic. It is mainly distributed in two fields, one is human medicine, the other is animal medicine. The iron dextran products produced by Taoyuan are veterinary medicine series, which are widely used in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia of piglets and sows, escorting the healthy growth of piglets.
